Sizzlers poor service policy.
the pilot wv6 9hx
Service is always slow
But today 29th June 2022 I Ordered food at 6.12pm & Nothing was said about a delay. The Food arrived at 7.02 basically an hour.
When complained as had an agm at 7.
All she could say is I never knew there was that delay.
Well your kitchen staff must of known but never felt to say, she did not care.
I said If I had been told we would not have ordered. As all restaurants say when there is 20/30 min wait. This was a 55 min wait.
All she could say is you want a refund & not have the food then you can go. So wait a hour and don’t get food either.
Like what is the point when the food was there. Take as long to eat as mess about refunding.
So rude and terrible service.
If she had actually been sorry or taken responsibility for the pubs bad service would have been something. She just kept saying she did not know. No Blame to take from the pub on a whole.
Will will not want to go there again
Awful
Sizzlers clearly have a poor service policy
I kept the receipt time and picture of food with time. If try to say otherwise.

Excellent overall Service
The Stanley Arms in Roby, Liverpool.
We visited the other evening for another lovely meal served by attentive staff who genuinely care as to whether or not you are happy with everything.
We decided to book again for Easter Sunday and requested if a particular time was available.
The Manager was busy serving at that point but very quickly came over to our table and personally took our booking. He even gave us our preferred time of 5pm despite it appearing to be busy as the second semi final would be on.
Excellent service from an excellent team clearly led by a very professional and very obliging Manager.

Food not great
Greville Arms Solihull - Food not great, chips were scraggy, mushrooms dry and wrinkly, loads of onion but description and menu don't mention these. Onions rings soggy from the juice from all the onions ?
just been to the elizabeth arms in…
just been to the elizabeth arms in bilston, havent been for afew years for obvious reasons.when we got there half the menu wasnt available, now a sizzler pub without any steaks seems alot below par to me.waited for food to arrive and my peas were cold,my wife looked at her food and said theres a snail on my peas.now as i had just tried the peas that were cold i started to feel abit ill.the server was still standing there and couldnt take the plate away quick enough.we did get a full refund but the point is having to share your food with a snail isnt very funny.not even the boss had the decency to come over and say sorry, the server did say sorry but if the boss cant be bothered after a customter finds a snail on their meal to come and say sorry.well if i was a sizzling pub top boss im afraid someone would be out of a job today.and they dont deserve the 1 star i had to give them.
We ate at the chaddlewood PL7 in…
We ate at the chaddlewood PL7 in Plymouth, our 2nd visit!! And 50% off main meal. On entry at 1700 hrs booked 2 days previously we were informed they had no prawns or sirloin steaks!! This was disappointing in itself but we sat down and chose some food, if that’s what you’d call it. I myself ordered wholetail scampi??? I think not not farm foods frozen scampi sorry for insulting farm foods!!! My wife ordered chinese sizzling belly pork with rice ??it was gopping, microwave rice and chewy bits of reconstituted pork nothing like pork belly.
Sizzling pubs are surely false representing their menu’s as the food does not do the pictures justice. I will never eat at that venue again even if sizzling pubs offered for me to eat for free.
Please don’t waste your money eating at this venue as even with 50% discount it is not fit for human consumption.
If sizzling pubs employ at chef at this venue then you need to look at there qualifications. ?????
Just as a fore thought my wife wanted to use the toilets only to find no toilet tissue and the hand dryers not working!!! Absolutely disgusting, I felt sorry for the poor waitresses.

24th March 2022 …
24th March 2022
Disgusting stay away. Wednesday 23 March I accompanied a disabled person and a special needs youth of 17 years old both with their careers, a total of 5 people. I took them to the Acorn pub, Bebington,
They say they are a friendly bunch and pride themselves on giving the warmest of welcomes etc etc. This is just not true the manager and his assistant are intolerant towards disabled people and very unfriendly lacking communication skills. The 17 year old asked for a drink of the cider and Googled; (Is it legal for a 17 year old to drink alcohol with a meal? The law says that if you're 16 or 17 and accompanied by an adult, you can drink beer, wine or cider if you're out eating a meal at a restaurant or other licensed premises.
The assistant manager went into a fury and refused to compromise with the group. We left feeling very disappointed that what was supposed to be a nice experience turned out to be a disaster that could have been avoidable if the woman had approach us politely with professionalism and discussed the matter with us. All customers especially disabled groups should not be treated in this way. I sent a letter of complaint and received a reply from the general manager, like all the complaints he deals with, supporting his staff? The effects of that night still reverberate now.
I did look at some reviews and this behaviour of staff being rude is happening frequently. I feel these reviews are not considered by the general manager and he is missing the point; its how the customer is approached/treated is the issue, not necessarily the issue. I know it is against the law for unaccompanied under 18 to drink alcohol in a pub, so is sniffing cocaine in the toilet or smoking cannabis outside. Keep away from sizzling pubs, especially if you have special needs etc,

Second time I've been here and ordered…
Second time I've been here and ordered the loaded surf and turf and second time the dish has come out with witby prawns not torpedo prawns considering they are advertised £12.79 with the loaded surf and turf and £8.29 with witby prawns which I keep getting. The first time they tried to tell me a rump steak was a sirloin?? Be aware of which dish your ordering they're selling a £8.29 meal for £12.79.
I visited The Old Ship in February
I visited The Old Ship in Lee-on-the-Solent. It happens to be the only pub on the seafront. Great views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. It does some great food at reasonable prices. An extensive menu and generous portions are all very affordable. I found the staff very friendly and attentive. It is a popular pub, always busy. Maybe a good idea to book

What a Absolute hole, Dirty, very slow service, food turned up wrong and when it Arrived it was terrible. Staff didn’t care and was very rude, wouldn’t go into one of these pubs again if you paid me. Save your money and find somewhere else to spend your money.

Large car park and big garden with plenty of tables, and some new cabins for undercover outside drinking/eating. Will be back

Disappointing
Visit the Moorland Inn regularly for drinks and sometimes food. Very disappointed this evening that my husbands sausages in the mega mix grill meal were actually raw inside, my sauce forgotten and a 30 minute wait for an ice cream

My wife and I visited the Anson in…
My wife and I visited the Anson in Wallsend. I ordered a 7 Oz steak and was told it wasn't available. I ordered a 5oz and I asked if it would be served on a skillet with sizzling onions as advertised. I was told yes it would.
No it wasn't. It was served on a plate without onions, with cool chips,no egg or pineapple and no friendly service.
My wife ordered the veggie burger which wasn't cooked thoroughly and came with cool chips and a salad which consisted of 1 lettuce leaf, raw onion ring and a slice of tomato.
This was the second time we have visited this pub and it will definitely be the last.
Very poor customer service.
Very poor quality food.
I have been very generous with my comments and with my star rating.
We booked into the King Henry at…
We booked into the King Henry at Bramley South Yorkshire, the experience was dreadful , we usually use the Kind And Miller near Retford and after today’s experience we will go back to doing so ,the meals were vastly overcooked, my wife’s Sirloin was ordered medium/rare , it came well done , my meal was the Combo Chicken &Rib with curly fries , it came with chips but they were changed straight away the Chicken was way over cooked as were the Ribs . My thoughts as being a Chef retired were that the Cook was not very confident and erred on the side of over cooking everything . We will still be using the King and Miller though because we enjoy the very same meals cooked correctly.
Just on another point one of the waitresses brought a tray of cutlery from the kitchen onto the top of the serving Bar and started to polish the cutlery noisily throwing it into the tray next to it and plenty landing on the floor , it just does not look very professional and it’s something I have never seen in any other of you premises. As I repeat a very unpleasant experience but I will still frequent the King and Miller and enjoy as always . Kind Regards Norman Wright .
